Overview
MakeMyDonation is a comprehensive fundraising ecosystem designed to make online giving easier. The core of the project is a donation plugin that can be embedded into any website via a secure iframe, instantly transforming it into a fundraising platform.
Challenges
MakeMyDonation came to us with a critical problem: they wanted to allow any website owner to support charitable causes, but existing solutions were too technical and insecure for the average user. They needed a universal tool that could be embedded anywhere without code conflicts, while simultaneously guaranteeing secure transactions and strict hosting-domain verification to prevent fraud.
Additionally, to boost engagement, we had to engineer a system capable of triggering instant visual feedback like a growing tree.
Solutions
We engineered the end-to-end solution from the ground up: a secure iframe-based widget with an automated embedding script for conflict-free integration. To ensure trust, we built a strict domain verification system to prevent fraud, alongside dynamic fundraising pages and a real-time dashboard for campaign tracking.

Charity selection controls
Limit available charities for your users or enable global search with options to narrow results by country or explore specific categories (like Medical or Pets) for inspiration.

Donation form workflow
Customize the complete donation form by controlling every step: set Recurring Options and Suggested Amounts in the Donation step; choose if you collect a Full or Required-Only Billing Address and set mandatory fields in Billing; select your supported Payment Gateways (like Card or Google Pay) in Payment; and finally, configure Fee/Tip Options and manage the transaction summary in the Review step.

To celebrate a teammate's 30th birthday, we launched a physical challenge and our own fundraising campaign, "30 Years Young & 30km Strong," directly on the MMD. We successfully raised over $2,000, proving that the tool we built can drive real impact to support Ukraine.
