Our story
Proga Tech is a Ukraine-based company born during the war, a time of chaos and uncertainty. While the world was standing still, we chose to begin.
Founded by Solomiia Demkiv, we brought together a team that believes in the power of technology to create light even in the darkest times.
Our initial external hiring experience was a learning moment that showed us what truly matters: people, culture, and shared values. That’s why we focus on growing talent from within while staying open to rare gems who align with our mission.
Since 2022, we’ve grown 20+ team members and continue to expand with purpose.

For me personally, staying in Ukraine wasn't just a business decision. It was about proving that innovation doesn't pause for adversity. What drives me most is watching our team flourish and knowing that each project we complete contributes to something bigger than just business.
Why pink?
Our logo has a story that perfectly captures our beginning. During one of the many blackouts, when the lights went out and nothing worked, Solomiia's friend was sketching our logo by candlelight in a notebook
. She had just one pink marker with her, and that's what she used to draw the frame around our design.
When we saw it, we knew immediately: this was it. The color felt so right that we never considered changing it.
But when digitizing the logo, we didn't settle for just any pink. We matched it to a sunrise photo from our mountain trip. That hopeful glow breaking through darkness felt like the perfect metaphor for building something beautiful during challenging times.
Values
Our values guide every decision we make and every line of code we write. We believe great products come from great relationships built on trust, transparency, and shared ambition.

Being able to talk with clients, join in on in-office brainstorming sessions, and just have face-to-face conversations — that's what I really enjoy at Proga. Sometimes people can push you in a completely different direction, helping you see yourself from a whole new perspective.
