Our story
Proga Tech is a Ukraine-based company born during the war, a time of chaos and uncertainty. While the world was standing still, we chose to begin.
Founded by Solomia Demkiv, founder and visionary, we brought together a team that believes in the power of technology to create light even in the darkest times.
Our first external hiring experience was tough and disappointing. But it taught us what truly matters: people, culture, and shared values. That's why we focus on growing talent from within while staying open to rare gems who align with our mission.
Since 2022, we've grown 16 team members and continue to expand with purpose.

Why pink?
Our logo has a story that perfectly captures our beginning. During one of the many blackouts, when the lights went out and nothing worked, Solomiia's friend was sketching our logo by candlelightin a simple notebook. She had just one pink marker with her, and that's what she used to draw the frame around our design.
When we saw it, we knew immediately: this was it. The color felt so right that we never considered changing it.
But when digitizing the logo, we didn't settle for just any pink. We matched it to a sunrise photo from our mountain trip. That hopeful glow breaking through darkness felt like the perfect metaphor for building something beautiful during challenging times.
